uPVC Windows

Astralite Products use only premium quality vinyl extrusions to produce durable and aesthetically-pleasing windows and doors. Permanent finishes eliminate the need for painting. The sash and frame will not corrode, rot or peel. Air pockets in the frame insulate the insid surfaces from exterior heat enhancing energy efficiency.

uPVC Windows

This is the only window on the market with a Lifetime Warranty!

Alstons Building Enterprises Limited (ABEL) guarantees that only first grade uPVC extrusions are used in the manufacture of our Astralite Windows and Doors.

Raw materials are tested in independent laboratories and will not corrode, chalk, peel, discolour, pit, crack or rot due to the effects of weather or during the course of acceptable use. Additionally, the extrusion will not warp or lose its stated dimensions in instances of extreme heat or cold. Salt air will not affect the chemical composition or appearance of Astralite Windows and Doors.

FAQs

Doesn’t the strength of a window come from the material used on the outer frame?

Actually most of the strength of a window comes from the inner frame (sashes) and/or the mullions (vertical bar in between the panes of the glass), so a window made from uPVC isn’t any less safe or rigid than one made from another conventional material. Plus Astralite uPVC Windows have fusion welded frames and aluminium reinforcements fitted where the locking hardware usually is, maximizing the strength of your window.

What makes Astralite uPVC Windows superior to windows made from steel or aluminium?

Astralite has special micro-ingredients that have been added to the uPVC during manufacturing, which further enhance its ability to resist the elements and stay beautiful.

  • Heat and UV Stabilizers – prevent colour fading, weakening and other harmful effects due to the sun’s UV rays.
  • Impact Modifiers – eliminate splitting and shattering from sharp blows or movements.
  • Titanium Dioxide – prevents heat build up on surface.
  • Lubricants – maintain smooth finish of frame.
